The anticipation surrounding Ghost’s future has just taken a turn that is as melancholy as it is aesthetic. With the release of Chapter 23 a few minutes ago, titled **“Frater Gets A Visit,”** Tobias Forge moves away from stage artifice to plunge us into the intimacy of a Ministry in the midst of an existential crisis. This eight-minute segment is not just a narrative transition; it is a more intimate moment with Frater Imperator, far from the tormented atmosphere of the Ministry as we had seen in previous chapters.

# *Frater Imperator’s Administrative Shipwreck*

From the opening, the tone is set by a polished staging. We find Copia literally slumped on a meridienne, surrounded by the weight of a “baroque” decor. He, who has traveled the world, now finds himself in the middle of an existential crisis. In an exchange with Sister Imperator, Copia confesses that the administration and daily management of the Ministry bring him no satisfaction. He admits that these tasks do not come naturally to him and that he finds no pleasure in them.

# *Sister Imperator: A New Appearance*

The pivot of the chapter lies in the appearance of Sister Imperator. She appears in a spectral but rejuvenated form, which she justifies by the fact that as a ghost, she returns in her best light. Her presence is far from accidental; she comes for a necessary reframing.

While Copia seems ready to abandon his responsibilities, Sister confronts him with the reality of a **“gelatinous” and unstimulated life** that would await him if he chose procrastination. She reminds him that he remains the pillar of the family business. The discussion takes on a more mysterious dimension when she mentions **Papa V Perpetua**, Copia’s “brother,” stating that the latter is just as curious to meet him as the reverse.

The second part of the chapter creates a total break with the confined and heavy atmosphere of the Ministry. From the first notes, the image grain changes to adopt a saturated 8mm texture. This visual journey is accompanied by **“Cenotaph,”**which thus inherits an official music video and becomes the fourth single from **SKELETA**.

The video follows a rejuvenated Sister Imperator, hair in the wind and a smile on her face, riding a motorcycle through the city. We see palm trees and the typical architecture of the West Coast scrolling by, captured in the golden light of the sun.

The transition to an animated sequence allows the imagery to be pushed even further. We encounter mythical rock locations, such as the Whisky a Go Go (where the music video for “Kiss The Go-Goat” was filmed), before passing somewhat more futuristic structures such as the **Intuit Dome**. And this is the moment everyone will remember. The digital billboard of the Intuit Dome appears on the screen, displaying a message that now serves as a countdown for all fans:

> **« The Skeletour Ends Here Feb 23rd 2026 »**

The final image shows Sister Imperator facing this immense arena, before the video concludes with a series of flashbacks of the concerts Ghost delivered in Europe and the United States this summer.

*It should be noted, however, that the team behind the videos for “The Future Is A Foreign Land” and “Mary On A Cross” did not work on this new animated section.*

# *The SKELETOUR Continues in 2026*

In just over a month, Ghost will indeed hit the roads of the United States and Canada again. From January 21 in Orlando to February 23 in Inglewood. This third, and therefore last, part of the SKELETOUR will bring a definitive end to Ghost’s World Tour in support of their album, released in April of this year and nominated for a Grammy Award, **SKELETA**!
